Composer/saxophonist Peter Gordon will be performing with a stellar electro-acoustic edition of his Love of Life Orchestra, including new versions of selections from his collaboration with David Cunningham, The Yellow Box, which will be concurrently released on vinyl for the first time by Cologne’s Week-End Records.

This ensemble includes Nik Void (Factory Floor) on modular synthesizers, electric cellist Blake Leyh (composer/music supervisor for The Wire, Treme), and keyboardist/singer/trumpeter Max Gordon (East Village Radio, Love of Life Orchestra, Arthur Russell’s Instrumentals). Gordon’s longtime collaborator Kit Fitzgerald will be projecting her signature video work.

While David Cunningham will not be touring, his musical presence and sensibility will be channeled by the ensemble.
